Heart rate is how often your heart is beating. A heart beat is the thump you feel or hear in your head after an exercise.

Blood Pressure is a measurement that is taken to monitor your health. Blood Pressure works by measuring the PRESSURE in your arteries. The top number is when the heart is Contracting, and the bottom number is when the heart is at rest (in between the beats). Normally when your heart is beating faster, your BP goes up, and at night while you are asleep it falls because you are laying down asleep and your body is at rest.

Stress, exercise, food and medication can affect any of these.. and BP is not a constant.. if you get ticked off it can go very high for a few mins and go right back to normal.

The reason that Heart Disease affects all this is because blood vessels as we age (smoke etc..) lose their elasticity and are not able to expand and contract as well. Which is why higher BP in middle aged and older people is more common. If the arteries cannot flex, then the BP remains higher in both contraction and rest.

I hope this helps :) GL!

Blood pressure measures the pressure exerted againstt your vessels when your heart is at work and when it is at rest. The top number, the systolic number, is the amount of pressure exerted agains your vessels when you heart is in the active beat, or pump of the blood. The bottom number, diastolic number, is the amount of pressure exerted on your vessels when you heart is in its resting state. Normal range for an adult is about 120/70.

Hypertension, high blood pressure, is very dangerous. It is the major cause of strokes or CVA, cerebral vascular accident. People who suffer from hypertension can have severe headaches and dizziness. Hypo-tension,low blood pressure, can cause weakness and syncope (fainting).

The heart rate is simply how many times your heart beats in a minute. If you would like to measure this, find your pulse and count your heart beat for 15 seconds. Take that number and multiply it by 4.

If a person is dehydrated their blood pressure will fall and the vessels will dilate. The heart then acts as a compensation tool and starts to speed up in order to more adequately deliver oxygen, and nutrients to the body.

That is basically it in a nut shell...

Heart rate is the number of times your heart beats in a minute. Blood pressure is the pressure of the blood flowing through your blood vessels.

The higher the heart rate, the higher the blood pressure. This is because you are pumping more blood per minute into the blood vessels than usual.

Blood pressure is the pressure exerted by the blood on the surrounding vessels and is dictated by blood volume, stroke volume of the heart, along with many other factors, your heart rate is just how frequently your heart beats. It is frequent to see a low blood pressure and a high pulse, this can be caused by a lack of plasma volume. However, its not uncommon to see a high blood pressure and a high pulse, as in the instance of stimulation by adrenaline. There are many factors that can affect one or both.

Blood pressure is how much pressure each beat puts on your blood veins.. Too much pressure and the veins pop. Heart rate is how fast your heart beats. If you have high blood pressure, the faster your heart beats, the harder it is on your veins.
