Contact your local Planned Parenthood, or Publc Health Department. You may be able to find places that will test both of you for free. They are both in the phone book. Be sure to discuss your thoughts about condom use.

The only way to be tested for STD's is to go to the doctor and have bloodwork done. I must say I have to congratulate you for being so cautious, and to think about one anothers health before making such a big jump in your relationship. However I find it quite odd that you are planning to have sex in July. Why July? Is he a minor and you are not? Are there legal ramifications you are thinking about? Anytime you have sex with anyone, be it a partner, a friend, a spouse, whatever, unless you are PLANNING on children, ALWAYS use a condom. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS!!!!!!! This will prevent your chances of spreading a possible STD to him (you said he was a virgin, so that generally makes him clean) and it greatly reduces your chances of becoming pregnant.

Any time you have unprotected intercourse there is an threat of having something. look on your telephone e book or a STD health center run via the county or city, call they ought to do HIV and STD testing unfastened. attempt a AIDS provider business enterprise too, in addition they might do HIV testing besides.

Your family doctor should be able to do most tests, but there are also many free clinics. Be sure to ask if they do a blood test for herpes though, many clinics do not and also, you may have to pay for it. Do a google search for free clinics in your area, planned parenthood should do them also, if there is one in your area.
My family doctor tested for aids, gonorrhea, chlamydia, hepatitis, and syphilis, I think, and all were covered on our insurance.

If you don't have a doctor, go to a clinic, they'll help you out. Most of the test are blood test and exams; nothing extremely painful. good luck!

You go to your family doctor. You need to understand that an "STD test" does not test for all STDs. There are some STDs that cannot be tested for until symptoms appear... for instance, herpes and genital warts.

Please see the web page for more details on STD and the details of testing for each type of disease. You may visit the nearest Genito-Urinary Medicine(GUM) clinic. The service is free and your identity will be kept as confidential.
