Hi,

Asthma is a chronic condition. Pl. advise your friend that he/she should follow following guidelines at home. These guidelines may help to keep asthma under control:

1.Avoid smoke, especially cigarette smoke, vapours and chemical fumes.

2 Stay indoors during the humid season or the change of seasons especially when the pollen count is high.

3.Do not use fans in closed and dusty places.

4.Cover mattresses and pillows with plastic covers. Wash the bedding in hot water every week.

5.Do not use a vapouriser or humidifier unless it is thoroughly cleaned.

6.Do not have close contact with pets. Pet owners should bathe their pet weekly.

7.The cleaning of the house or the surroundings should be done by wet mopping rather than sweeping, wherever possible. This avoids the generation of allergen aerosols which could act as a triggering factor.

8.The doctor should be contacted in case the medicines are not effective in keeping the breathing comfortable.

Asthma is mainly due to some allergy. Your friend may be allergic to some dust particles, food items so first find out which one is allergic to him and ask him to avoid them.
1. Avoid using mosquito coils, mats and liquidators. Instead he can use mosquioto repellent creams.
2. Avoid being in some dusty places.
3. Use some masks while driving and avoid inhaling the motor exhausts.
4. Avoid taking the food items which will induce wheezing or some allergic reactions.
5. Regular intake of medicines will cure the disease 100%.
6. I was having Bronchial Asthma but now I got cured by taking the medicines(just tablets alone) regulary and by following the above said steps. Not even a single injection is required for me to eliminate this disease.

First of all get it properly diagnosed whether it is asthma or simple breathlessness. People get confused with breathlessness and asthma. The moment you complain breathlessness, they start prescribing steroids. Consult a good ayurvedic doctor who is good in pulse diagnosis. Drink Noni herbal fruit juice twice a day on empty stomack.

Keeping up with mild excercise is the key. If your heart can take excercise then it won't get out of control when an asthma attack tries to occur.

For me, everything set off an attack- sneezing, coughing, laughing, getting hot, walking alot, jogging, etc. Even sleeping gave me an attack. Walking and jogging got me the most because I wasn't physically fit at the peak of the disease.

tell her to see an allergist for food allergy testing. Undiagnosed allergies, most often to wheat, soy, eggs, dairy, corn, and nuts are common causes of asthma. Have her keep a food journal to see if the attacks come on within 36 hours of consuming certain foods. Thanks for being a good enough friend, too!
