First, I will say congrats on not catching Chlamydia, however please realize how lucky you are. You SHOULD have caught it. No, he didn't get the disease from you. You can not get an STD from someone unless they have that STD, so you can rest assured that if you do NOT have Chlamydia now nor did you at the time that you slept with this guy, you didnt give it to him. You said that his last sexual partner (other than you) was months ago? That makes sense. Chlamydia can be inside the body, even though you have no signs or symptoms. There is a good possibility that he has had it for a while, and just never knew about it until he got tested. So I hope this helped, and I hope you'll repeatedly go and get tested to make sure that it wasnt just a mistake misdiagnosis. Best wishes and good luck.

If you don't have chlamydia you can't possibly have given it to someone else.
Basically you were lucky. He had chlamydia when you slept with him, but you didn't catch it - in the same way as if you're exposed to the virus that causes a cold, you may be lucky enough not to catch a cold. And so what if the last time he had sex was months ago? Chlamydia has very few obvious symptoms, so he could easily have been carrying it all that time and not known.
Basically, though, what this means is that you need to be careful. You could catch chlamydia (which can cause women to become infertile), or something worse, if you have unprotected sex.
Best wishes.

Let me offer one other possible explaination. Years ago I had sex with a woman friend of mine, a few days later I experienced a slight burning during urination and a little discharge from my penis. I went to the doctor who said it was a PROBABLE chlamydia infection. I told my friend who then got tested and was negative for chlamydia. Later I read about what they call Non specific ureathritis, just some other sort of possible infection that we may have exchanged. I suggest that you and BF both visit the same doctor get it cleared up so that you will no longer have to worry about it and get on with your lives

Can you infect a person with HIV if you don't have it? the answer is NO! He had it for a while and the symptoms just started showing now. You did not, I repeat, did not give it to him. And please stop having unprotected sex, better yet just stop fornicating.
