I HAVE BEEN DATING MY BOYFRIEND FOR A WHOLE YEAR NOW AND TODAY HE CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THAT HE THINK HE MAY HAVE A STD. NO, HE DIDN'T SAY "I" GAVE HIM ONE BUT THAT HE THINK HE MAY HAVE ONE. LAST TIME I WAS TESTED WAS ON AUGUST 2006. FROM AUGUST 2006 TO FEBRUARY 2007, I HAVEN'T HAD SEX WITH ANYONE BUT HIM. IF I GO TO THE DOCTORS AND IM NEGATIVE BUT HE'S POSITIVE, IS THAT A VALID REASON TO END THE RELATIONSHIP? IF WE BOTH DON'T HAVE NOTHING, IS THERE STILL A VALID REASON TO BREAK UP WITH HIM BECAUSE HE ALREADY TOLD ME THAT HE DON'T TRUST ME.

Hon that very last line is all I need to see. If there is no trust in that relationship why are you in it? Don't bother with him. If he can't trust you, and he thinks he's come up with an STD then he may well be the one messing around. If y'all can't talk about this openly and honestly there isn't much of a relationship to start with. I'd also ask his what STD he thinks he has since he might simply have a yeast infection and be too ignorant to know that he can develop one of those all by himself without anyones help. Really if he doesn't rust you that's just really messed up. I'd walk.

If he already told you he doesn't trust you, there's a valid reason to break up with him right there. Yes, if he has an STD and he doesn't explain to you how he got it, it is a good reason to break up with him. Depending on the STD (there a so many), it can be transferred through needles and various other place (things like public lice and crabs can occasionally be spread by toilets). If you don't know if he does hardcore drugs or not, it might be good to find out because like I said, they can be spread through needles. Good luck.

If he doesn't trust you, then leave. Go get tested and ask him to do the same. If you decide to stay with him, still get tested. If he does not then you are putting yourself at risk. It might not be an std, but just get tested to put your mind at ease.

Also ask him what he thinks he has, what symptoms he has, how long he's had them, and why he thinks its an std.

Thats harsh! trust is the relationship without it you have nothing but secrets and lies.......if he feels like he cant trust you im sorry but maybe you should leave, Get tested first though and then see what he says and if he changes his mind dont make a choice before you know anything, Maybe hes just going through a hard time and needs your support.

If you haven't been sleeping with anyone else then there should be no std's unless he's cheating or unless he is sitting on public toilets or something I would say you both go and get tested together.

First of all if your b/f thinks he has an STD he has obviously been with someone else. Do you want to wait until you have one yourself to leave him. Be smart and let him go deal with his own health issues.

no, you can get STD from other sources. Did you sleep with someone or get in a hot tub or sauna with someone with STD. You may have had a cold sore and gave him a BJ and he got some. who knows.

It'll probably take a while before you break up with him.

No matter what you do, start wearing condoms for your protection.
