That's disgusting but so true.......i can't stop laughing!!! it's true every time....there's the carrots...i wish it was carrots, stomach lining sounds even more gruesome!!!! x

Not nice I know but this is the lining of your stomach which protects it from the acidic juices your stomach produces for digestion. DOn't worry. It replaces itself but your stomach might be a bit sore and sensitive for a while! Looks just like overcooked carrots when it comes up!

This is the old Billy Connolly story about carrots in vomit. It's an urban myth, though rather amusing.

Personally, I don't inspect my vomit, I just clean it up before it makes me feel like vomiting again.

My theory is that someone is feeding you pounds of poisoned carrots while you sleep. It could be that or maybe carrots are one of those foods that are hard to digest but in truth I think they may actually aid in digestion. That is a tough one there.

ok, first issues frst! it is termed vomit, no longer 'ill'. besides, it gained't have carrots in it till you've been ingesting carrots. i assume there will be some thing on your vomit that appears like carrots, besides the undeniable fact that....

People sometimes use the expression 'Sick as a parrot' but as you have just found out it should be 'Sick as a carrot'

the fact that you weighed your vomit is a little disturbing.. if you didn't eat carrots then its not carrots...now i think i will be sick.. but i won't be looking at it or let alone weighing it.. just flush..

Hmm. I don't know. I haven't puked in 16 years. Maybe its just something that looks like carrots. Or maybe your body just keeps a secret carrot stash in case of a surprise puke...
