nope.... HPV is only caused by skin to skin contact and no you do not have to have intercourse to catch it.. but no you can not catch it from toilet seats, or touching something someone has touched with it.. that would suck it you could though..if that happened everyone would have it... as well as kids.... so no.. you can only get it from direct contact

You need to have DIRECT skin to skin contact with the warts from a person that has them to contract HPV (the virus that causes genital warts). Even if the couple does not have sex and just "dry humps", the skin to skin contact alone can cause the other person to contract HPV.

Using a toilet after someone or touching something a person with HPV has touched will NOT cause you to get the virus though. HPV is ONLY spread by sex (vaginal, anal and oral) and by DIRECT skin to skin contact with the infected area. Babies can also be born with HPV but this is REALLY rare.
