The products may vary depending on where you are but as a general US rule the Morningstar Farms line of analogs (meat substitutes) are the best for crossing over to "our world". Silk soymilk products are very highly rated (their chocolate is now the highest selling brand of chocolate 'milk'). These products will help your HDL/LDL ratio since the fats are better, plus they tend to be lower in calories to boot! You can make your own soy mayo from soft tofu or buy eggless vegan mayo replacements like Vegenaise or Nasoya ( I like their fat free when I can't make my own). These kind of products can help you lose weight since as a rule they tend to be lower calorie than the traditional products they replace.

Ignore the total garbage about soy and hormones!!! Soy does NOT have estrogen in it!! It contains compounds called phytosterols that may slightly resemble estrogen they work in a totally different manner!!

You have been consuming REAL estrogen you're whole life since all animal milk has real estrogen!

Does that info help?

At Fred Meyer's you can buy a mayonnaise substitute called Vegenaise and it tastes really good. It is still a bit high in fat, but if used in the recommended serving size then it won't really matter. There is Nayonaise. I bought it and wasn't really floored by it, but every bodies taste buds are different. You may like it. You can find it at Fred Meyer's and Safeway. BTW, Vegenaise is in a dairy case in the health food section of Fred Meyer's.

You've already been given some excellent advice, well, except from the guy who suggested to stay with meats. There are people who have been very misinformed.

Once you have bought the products you need and get them home, you will have time to read and study ways to prepare the products. This eating style is healthier and you will lose weight and your cholesterol count will go down if it's not already there. Vegetarianism is for everybody and for every age.

I think Silk soy milk is the best. I started out drinking the vanilla flavor, but now I drink light plain. The texture is immensely better. Chocolate Silk is wonderful, but if you're concerned about losing weight stay away from it. Also they are lots of soy replacements for things that are "better" because they are lower in saturated fats and cholesterol, but will still make you gain weight. So really read the nutrition labels. As far as tofu, I buy extra-firm and throw in the freezer as soon as I get it home. When I'm ready to cook it, I thaw it and boil it. It makes the texture so much better. I can't stand mushy tofu!

good day! Congrats on your selection. Soy is solid for you. the subject is the comparable ol situation usa continually has. "If a sprint is solid then extra could be extra advantageous." which isn't real. usa has positioned soy in incredibly lots each and everything. Which has us eating poisonous tiers. upload to that the instability of genetically engineered organisms. The so-called "around Up waiting" soy that's used so fantastically in the U. S. - is amazingly undesirable for us. it is this around up waiting soy this is inflicting those style of issues. So too, we at the instant are not eating soy in a organic state. we are loading it up with all varieties of rubbish and making unnatural soy products. those are very complicated. you spot, countless the so called issues of soy are from genetically engineered soy and fantastically processed soy products. Soy milk, tempeh and tofu at the instant are not fantastically processed so as that they are ok. yet nonetheless - it is extra advantageous to selection your intake. Use soy milk for awhile, then swap to rice milk, grain milk, almond milk or hemp milk. They each and each have food you like.

Go to a local health food store and you will be surprised at the soy "substitutes" available.
Yes there is soy mayo, soy cheese, soy yogurt.
I don't know the differences in the makes of soy milks but they are readily available at your local grocer.
Best to you.

If you are a guy you shouldn't really shouldn't use so much soy products. While it helps women balance their hormone levels, it can do the opposite in men. This is a medical fact, not opinion. As far as being healthier, that is a myth. As long as you eat lean beef, there isn't anything wrong with that. As far as dairy, just do organic dairy, or goats milk. The vegan propaganda has no medical backing by legit doctors. Don't get suckered in by all of this crap. There are other things to watch for in a diet. Go organic in your vegetables and meat if you want food to be healthier.
For you vegetarians that have critisized what I said, I guess you all have a Ph.D. in medicine and know more than the doctors that are trying to get people to wake up to the truth about all of this soy and vegan crap. You treat it as a friggin religion.
I have news for you, studies have been done and they did find that men with high uses of soy in their diet had significant testosterone loss. That is a medical fact. Another fact is that beef has certain amino acids that you need and can NOT get from vegetable matter. You nut jobs are such hypocrites. When a woman is needing to have hormonal balance you tell her to eat soy products, but when trying to be anti meat, you go the other direction and say that soy does nothing. You can't have it both ways. You all sound like the nut jobs in PETA.
To the guy asking about this stuff, you can listen to these people, none of which are doctors by the way, or you can go by what medical studies have proved several times. By the way, the studies were not funded by the beef industry. One of the Doctors lives in Nashville, Tn. and is very much into holistic and alternative medicine and healing through vitamins and herbs. But the human body does require things only found in red meat. Dude, you can do want you want, but remember, you don't know these wackos here and they don't listen to the medical world. This vegan crap is their religion.
If you want proof, look at professional athletes. There is a reason why the successful athlete is not a vegitarian.
Like I said, you do what you want. But I suggest checking out
what the medical and nutritional doctors have to say.
By the wat, the statement about estrogen being in milk is a myth perpetuated by nut job vegans and no reputable lab has found it in milk. Decades ago there were isolated cases of conamination of milk, but it wasn't estrogen. You go ahead and do all of this soy food. It will cause your testosterone levels to drop eventually. But don't listen to doctors that know what they are talking about, just listen to the vegan idiots. They are not doctors, but they are smarter than every one else. Look at a guy that has been a vegan for a long time. He is not healthy, he is puny and acts almost like a girl in some ways.

Soy crisps are a wonderful snack food- they're quite healthy as far as good-tasting snacks go, and something like 7 grams of protein per serving. I've tried a few different brands and I like Quaker best.
