Well, I was doing the tests to pass time and I had

66 as Systolic, 54 as Diastolic and 44 as pulse.

Where normal is 130 for systolic, 85 for Diastolic.

My grandfather suffers from high blood pressure and he tells me that is almost as if I was dead. This is freaking me out, I did it a couple of times to see if I had moved or the machine miscalculated. But the results weren't of great variation.

There are tests that your doctor is going to perform to see what is going on exactly. I would go in and ask. That seems low to me. Are you having any other signs of hypotension? It would be more worrisome to me if you had any of the following:
* Dizziness or feeling lightheaded
* Blurry vision
* Confusion
* Feeling faint or weak
* Fainting

How do you feel? If you feel OK then it's most likely the machine/equipment is wrong. This could either be from actual mechanical error or perhaps (sorry) operator error.

If you really had a 66/54 with a pule of 44, I'd expect you to feel like hell and look REALLY sick. Strange that your diastolic is so close to your systolic as well. I mean, you shouldn't be able to move. Also, I agree with the symptoms that Tiffany described - those would be typical if your BP was really low - but this is like shock range.

First thing I would do is go to a pharmacy and use their automated BP cuff thing that they have and see what it says. Follow the instructions carefully and DON'T go to the same place you just had it tested at. Actually, I think if you can drive to the pharmacy, that's a pretty confirmatory test that you're OK. You could also follow up with your doctor if you want an expert opinion.

Are you having any other symptoms?

High blood pressure is dangerous but I also believe low is equally dangerous. I'd suggest seeing the doctor if you're constantly getting low pressure. I have a friend who has that as well. She has thalassemia and is therefore anaemic and has a whole lot of problems. Once she's sick she's really sick and for the whole past week she had low blood pressure. See the doc, see what he needs to say.

Yours is one of the good questions and well high lighted, you see did you experience any physical symptoms, e.g faintness, vertigo and sinking of heart etc., did you perform exercise on empty stomach i.e if you have not eaten for more than 4 hours and the symptoms arose, if the answer is YES, go pl. consult your physician/ or consult cardiologist it's mandatory.
