yes its common and goes away typically with age.

Both the above colleagues of mine have answered very well, there is however a common possibility in having an Haemic Murmer due do Anaemia. As I am not a Vet. This for the general info. for all on the net to be careful of! before you label a patient to have pathological murmur of the heart condition.

Just like people are born with heart murmurs, so can dogs. We share many of the same types of diseases and conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy (seizures), hip dysplasia, hearing loss, etc.
