Here is a huge list of foods that are vegan. Add milk and eggs to your list, and you can eat almost anything.

You can even use your regular recipes and cookbooks and replace the animal with fake meats.

You can eat Papa-John's pizza, but not Pizza Hut's
Here are some vegan foods for dining out if you happen to be living in a fast-food household. I find it best to stay away from those places though. :)

Yet again... add milk and eggs, and you have a ton.

You can eat veggies, fruits, grains, pasta, Chinese food, Indian food, Mexican food, pizza, sandwiches, fake meat, beans, milk, dairy, tofu, eggs.... and on and on and on.

Here's a website that has TONS of vegetarian/vegan recipes!

To change a fav. recipe you might have, just replace tofu, beans, or a meat substitue for the meat. Going out? At taco bell you can change the meat for refried beans in anything they have, just ask. Same thing at most restuarants, like Chili's instead of a burger you can ask for a blackbean burger. Or at Applebee's get the fajita's without meat (they'll give you extra veggies instead).

All vegetables, fruits, nuts, grains etc. Better to tell you what you cannot eat:

Beef, Pork, Chicken, Turkey, Duck, Fish, Eggs, Milk, or anything made with these products.

Depends on what kind of a vegetarian you want to be: Some eat fish. Some eat Cheese. Some eat nothing with eyes. Your choice.

Its simple-if it didnt kill an animal, you can eat it. If it bled, screamed, or died so you could eat it, then dont! All there is to it, no rocket science involved. If you are worried about missing hamburgers, grill up a portabello mushroom and eat it the same way you would a burger, topped with cheese, etc. Dont over complicate it. If its dead flesh, dont eat it. simple
