Unfortunately, feeling tired all the time or fatigued can be a sign or symptom of any one of a number of problems, ranging from diabetes, to thyroid problems, lack of sleep, depression -- you get the idea. You need to talk to your physician about your lack of energy, as there are tests that the doctor can order to help ascertain the problem. Yahoo Answers is really not the place to go for diagnoses. The best one to diagnose your problems is your doctor, who can see you in person.

I don't understand why you would think feeling tired had anything to do with being a diabetic to begin with. I would be looking at lack of sufficient sleep, poor nutrition, lack of exercise, infection, or depression as much more likely causes of feeling tired all the time.

Try getting more sleep. I found that unless I get at least 8 hours of sleep I feel very tired in the morning. 9 hours is great. People with high energy often need more sleep to produce high energy constantly.

I'm no nurse (I know lots more about diabetes than most of them, however), but I have read where fatigue can be a symptom of diabetes. Go to this site and see if you have the other symptoms...

IT IS THE CARBS NOT THE SUGAR. MOST PEOPLE TEND TO THINK THAT IS CAUSED BY SUGAR. IF YOUR SUGAR IS TO HIGH OR TO LOW I THINK IT COULD CAUSE YOU TO FEEL TIRED.
