AIDS does not recognize age, gender, sexual preference, or religion. Anyone who is alive can get aids.

Yes everyone can get AIDs /HIV at ANY age. If a woman has AIDS and is pregnant she can then have an AIDS baby. And the child is born with AIDS for life until he/she dies. And that child can pass it on to other people through sex or blood.
Everyone is at risk for AIDs and sexual transmitted or blood borne diseases. That is why we all have to be careful and protect our own health.
Do NOT have unprotected sex with anyone (not using a condom. But even a condom is not 100% to prevent disease). Know your BF/GF well. Ask questions. Ask how many people they have had sex with (including oral sex). Ask if they have ever been tested for diseases such as AIDs.
And if you think they are whoreish then DONT risk your health by kissing (french kissing) them or having sex or oral sex with them. Educate yourself about STDs and transmission. Even doctors are at risk of getting AIDs just by touching blood of an infected person (dont touch anyone's blood without disposable gloves on and a mask and eye protection). Also do not give mouth to mouth CPR to anyone you do not know unless you have a plastic mouth barrier available. Give chest compressions but no mouth to mouth if a person needs CPR and you dont know if they have any diseases.

Education yourself. Search online for STDs, AIDs, HIV and learn how to protect yourself without becoming too paranoid.

By the way "there" is spelled wrong. You mean "even if THEY'RE" meaning THEY ARE. What you said means like "over there", "go there", etc.

Yes! And the worse thing is that even if you are tested and it is negative, you can still be carrying the virus in a dormant-like stage and show up positive up to 15 years later. Condoms break, pop and slip off and can only protect 50 percent so you are taking a big chance. The best thing to do is not have sex, oral sex or anal sex until you are sure of a long lasting monogamous relationship with a person that respects their body enough to have the same view. It's very hard to find, but it sure is worth the search. Good luck!

Unfortunately, kids are maturing and being sexually active at younger and younger ages. As frightening is that at this young of age they probably haven't been taught about STD's or AIDS and certainly aren't mature enough to be responsible for prevention.

Also, an aspect of this question must bring one to take into consideration the unpardonable acts of sexual abuse, molestation, and incest which occur most predominantly in children in this age range.

AIDS is certainly possible even in kids 11-14 as they can be exposed to HIV even at this young age.

AIDS does not care how old you are. There are babies being born with the virus from their infected mothers. Anyone who is active in risk behaviors is susceptible to AIDS. There are precautions you can take to lower your risk, but age does not have anything to do with whether or not you can get the virus. Unfortunately, there are children this young that are sexually active and are putting themselves at risk of getting this horrible disease as well as several others out there that can cause serious or deadly results.

Most definitely yes! At teenage years, their hormones are going crazy and some can't control it, so it is very possible 11-14 year olds have AIDS.

sadly yes. It could be they are being sexual. And i mean it could be just oral and you could get it. You can be born with it. Or even another child was born or some other way of contracting it and it just so happens that one gets hurt and blood comes out and maybe the uninfected person touches it or it squirts out and it just so happens they have a cut. they have a possiblity I know it sounds crazy or out there but it could happen. Anything is possible with hiv and aids.

Yes, here are the ways it is possible:

-Mother had HIV, and passed HIV/AIDS to her child during birth or breastfeeding.
-Child may have been sexually active with an infected person or been raped by an infected person.
-Child may have used intravenous drugs and contracted it through needles.
-Child may have used razors, toothbrushes, or other personal items (that may have touched blood) from a individual who is HIV-positive.
