I started the hemmorage after I had my son and had to have a blood transfusion. The doctors didnt say that I should follow up on it in any way but I was wondering if I should get tested for anything. I know that they test the blood very well thats why I am unsure wether to worry at all about this.

they screen the blood for everything before they give you the transfusion, but if you want to or it will make you feel better or reassure you, then go for it.

Well, first breath. They test the blood before they give it out. Thats how sometimes people find out they have something. I am not a doctor but i would think they wouldnt let any thing past them. If it is done in the U.S. Then i would be safe to say it is okay. If you really would feel better get tested. If you didnt want to go to the doctors go to a drug store and buy a hiv-1 kit. It tells you the next day. That would really be my biggest concern. But i think you are okay and i think it is good you care about yourself. Keep up the good work and takecare!

There are a number of religions that have not got self assurance in this. frequently it comes from the verse interior the Christian Bible that forbids the eating of blood. no count number if from a cup or, interior the case of a transfusion, via a needle, they have self assurance that any style of taking yet another's blood into them is forbidden. a number of those are Jehovah's Witnesses and Christian Scientists to call some.
