its not customary to give adults door gifts at kids parties but if you feel the need to do so, go cheap.. go to your local dollar store get some lil' figurines, candles, etc... and just wrap them in tissue paper (also found at same store)... if you take your time to look around you could really find some really cute things.

Something that goes along with the theme of the party....for instance, for my daughter's first birthday we had a Butterfly Garden party. I set out baskets of butterfly and flower-shaped glycerin soaps and packets of daisy seeds with a personalized message. The adults all were very excited that they actually got a treat, too!

movie tickets, bottle of wine not to be consumed at the party, gift certificates, nice cork screw, gourmet cookies, Starbucks card. Just think of reasonable things that you your self would like and use. Not toss in a junk drawer. After all what would be the use of the door prize if it was not useful.

If you have a digital printer, why not buy inexpensive picture frames and quickly print out their child's picture with yours at the party. This way they have a nice little gift and a remembrance of the party.

I think the best gift would be to make sure the childs gift bag is full of healthy, safe, but fun items.Like bubbles(easy to clean up if spilled,it's soap!!)...Don't give a three yr old a large sharp pencil,etc...Have fun!

I agree with all the above answers. Go cheap, but useable with your theme ( if you can). Frames, soaps, candles, kitchen gagets and towels, coffee mugs, ect..
