Ok so me and bf have been together for 8 months and a couple weeks ago he finally told me about these craters and bumps on the lower part (near the balls) of his penis.. that i didnt notice before.. he said he got them when he started puberty and he hasnt been with anybody else but me and all we have done is unprotected oral sex.. i dont know how it could be genital herpes since I have only been with him and him with me.. but im scared that what ever it is i could catch it too. does anybody know what these craters and bumps are? and if i could catch them? please help asap

Herpes comes in outbreaks then clears up, so if it's there all the time it is definitely not herpes.
If he's telling the truth that it developed when he hit puberty and before he had any sexual contact, and if the craters and bumps have remained unchanged in the same spots that entire time, then they are just a part of his anatomy and not contagious. Genitals are weird places, the skin is often naturally bumpy.
If they move around, then it's probably not contagious but it might be some sort of skin condition, and he might want to see a doctor.

I don't think you should worry they sound like bumps that come out when hair grows out but if you are really freaked out maybe you should talk with him about the two of you getting tested for everything

sounds like hair follicles.They are usually more pronounced in that area.I don't think it's anything to worry about.If your boyfriend is worried then get him to see his doctor.
