You could find those answers on any medical website, like webmd. But if you think you are at risk or could possibly have contracted the virus...just go and get tested. It is confidential and can alliviate your mind. "Symptoms" of the disease are mostly seen in full blown AIDS only. So go get tested sweetie and rest your mind. If you are putting yourself at risk to contracting the virus...love yourself and protect yourself. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure what the age group is but im 22 and i got HIV when i was 19. I don't have any symptoms like rashing or sore throats. I only really have symptoms when im sick because its 10 times worse than having it without HIV. I feel dizzy sometimes(not often) and headaches (not that often either). I found out i had HIV when I got tested because i was experiencing fatigue. I then found out it was due to a dirty needle.

I googled it and saw these pictures:

Some "AIDS-defining illnesses" are Pneumocystic pneumonia, Kaposi's Sarcoma, HIV skin rashes, wasting syndrome, etc. Put one of them in a search engine and choose "images" and pictures may result.

Right now, teens seem to be the group acquiring HIV in greater numbers along with the over 50 crowd and still gay men. Go to your state's Department of Health or the CDC to find statistics that will include age, ethnicity, geographic locations, etc.

it matters what stage they are in and how well they take care of themselves, remember magic Johnson came out in the 90s saying he had HIV, look at him still to this day looks great very healthy man, takes great care of himself. i work in a hospital around HIV/aids pt.s. late stages look horrible kinda like tuberculosis back in the 1800s ever seen the western movies. average age group i see and would have to assume on common knowledge is a mid 20s homosexual male. go to a library for books with pictures,

I don't believe there are any symptoms of HIV. AIDS, yes -- there are lesions, weight loss, etc. The age range affected the most is huge. Everybody from newborn babies to senior citizens.
