The only for sure to know if you or your girlfriend has an STD is to get tested! People claim they are virgins or that they have only been with one or two people when they have really been with like 10! It's hard to trust people about that subject.

If you have insurance your insurance will cover the tests, you'll just have to pay the co-pay. If you don't have insurance you can always go to a Planned Parenthood and get tested. Many STDs have no signs or symptoms. So, even though you and your girlfriend have only been with a couple people there is still that chance that you could have contracted something and just aren't showing any signs of it.

I personally contracted two incurable STDs at the age of 17. He was the 2nd guy I had ever slept with. So, it really doesn't matter how many people (or how little people) you sleep with. Get tested! Good luck!

Call your local Health Dept STD clinic & they'll direct you. It won't be expensive.

In an ideal situation a woman begins yearly pap/std screenings when she starts being sexually active.

It's not too late for both of you to go in & get checked.

PS. a guy can have an STD without any symptoms, eg Chlamidia. When a woman gets chlamidia it is very painful & without treatment the consequences are horrible.

Go to the doctor! Have the blood test done. It's simple and confidential! Make your plans and go!
