Pneumonia- symptoms: most people with pneumonia have cough, shortness of breath, and fever, as well as chest pain and pain in the back, around shoulder blades.
Baterial pneumonias are marked by abrupt onset with high fevers, shaking chills, pleuritic ( is a membrane that surrounds the lungs) chest pain, and prostration.

Generally pneumonia is treated with erythromycin and cepalosporins, and also pednisone( steriod- as this aids in drying up the mucus in the lungs).

Hope this helps.

I had Pneumonia for 1 and a half weeks; and I missed a lot of school! It was awful; I sat in my bed all delusional the walls were moving. You get a very high fever. I recommend getting treatmeant to lessen the symptoms.

Essentially pneumonia is when your aveoli (oxygen sacs in lungs) fill with water and you cannot breath correctly. It is a virus so it cannot be cured but antibiotics can fight symptoms

Get well soon
