My friends are having their birthdays together next week. They are 14 year old girls. What type of cake could they make (not chocolate or vanilla)? What should they do? There is snow in the area but not much and it is melting right now. I just need ideas to help them.

here are some fun and GOOD cakes that are more exciting than the normal chocolate or vanilla that i reccomend for the birthday..
Cookies and Cream Cake
1 package white cake mix
1 1/4 cups water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 egg whites
1 cup chocolate sandwich cookie crumbs
3 cups confectioners' sugar
3/4 cup shortening
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 egg whites
12 oreos
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9 inch round cake pans.
In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, water, oil, and 3 egg whites with an electric mixer on high speed for 2 minutes. Gently stir in crushed cookies. Pour batter into the prepared pans.
Bake for 25 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a knife inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pans. Remove from pans, and completely cool on racks.
To Make Frosting: In a small bowl, thoroughly blend the 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar, shortening, vanilla, and 2 egg whites. Beat in remaining confectioners' sugar until creamy. Frost the cake, and garnish with remaining cookies.

Find out something that they are both interested in like, I don't know pizza maybe. Take them out with the group of friends for their party. You can get a Yellow Cake or an Ice Cream Cake or even a Fudge Ripple Marble Cake made with fudge and a yellow or maybe a bundt cake mix.

Another thing you could do is to call some place like we have here in Madison, WI., it is called KIPPS North American Rotisserie. They always have other things besides chicken, but you might want to go and get a carry-out menu first ahead of time, and take a look at it before you have to order. You could then make a cake of some kind for their desert.

Hi!!!

Try making a pistachio cake, and cut it like an Evergreen!!!

Decorate it with tones of light and dark frosting. to enhance it you can make, two others small cakes, cut in a shape of a snowman
and place them, on each side of the Evergreen.

Since the snow around your area is melting, don't worry about making them perfect. This will be the talk of the party!!!

HAVE FUN, GOD BLESS YOU & HAPPY LIFE

A.Z.
