I was memeber of a gym in Grand Bend, ON. Canada.
I didn't bring an additional pair of shoes to workout the last time I went there . I was kicked out in a very gross maner because just of that.
I made sure I did bring clean and dry running shoes on, but I arrived there half hour before 9 pm the time they were suppose to close. (they probable hated to stay open just because of me and closed that night as soon as I had to run away.
Their floor was messy and nobody was there, so they took advantage and yelled at me plus they said they are cancelling my membership.
they know I am inmigrant
I was a paying member .

dont want to go there anymore, and they were supposed to close at 9 pm. The problem is that they are the owners, this is the only gym in Grand Bend Ontario Canada.
I just going to buy the machine to workout at home, but I am still in choke, I just cant believe how people can be so agresive.

Hey sarah, you seem to be probably the owner of that stupid gym, or who knows why you are at their side. If those idiots are to tied in their rules they have to be opened until 9pm too, but they just want everybody's money but not return any service back.
pluss they dont have any right to treat people in that way after we are who give them their living.
they should privateze that messy gym, so nobody get inside to mess their shoes.
they just respeted me one year that me and my b/f used to pay without go to workout.

Discrimination has nothing to do with it, why do people find it so easy to put things down to racism? Why dont you take a look at yourself? If you were the owner and someone that had not followed rules previously came in half an hour before you were due to go home after a long days work, wouldnt you be a bit annoyed? Grow up, what big a deal is it anyway? If you are going to go to another country then expect it to be different, that might just be the way they are.

I wouldn't call it discrimination if they already knew you were an immigrant and they let you join anyway then they probably didn't cancel your membership because of that. They are probably just tight on the rules. Just join another gym. Most gyms don't care about your shoes or outfit unless your in the pool with workout cloths or something. try 24 hr fitness or ballys I have never had any kind of trouble with them and i only workout with the shoes i came in.

They think you where disrespecting their times of service. It has nothing to do with discrimination. Tell them there are times that you need to work out that doesn't include their times. Maybe you could work out in the morning before work or something, take care Heather

Not discrimination. You didn't have the right shoes. Quit trying to play the race card.
