only if you cough up brown or green (clear or yellow is normal)
otherwise,no. Antibiotics could disrupt birth control pill effectiveness or cause yeast infections
oh, brown and green phleghm is from your lungs (Bronchitis or Pneumonia in some cases,)

Your lack of voice is from your vocal cords being aggrivated from a cough, or too much yelling, like after a sports game of cheering, etc. Just wait it out and drink PLENTY of water to help flush out the virus.

go to a doctor who will properly prescribe it if needed. some doctors and patients use antibiotics indiscriminately.
this leads bacteria that become resistent to antibiotics. lots of antibiotics now are not effective because of other peoples abuse of the drug. soon antibiotics wont work on us and we will end up going back to the days when antibiotics were not discovered and people died over the simplest diseases.
and if u take it, make sure u take the full dosage no matter if u feel better or not. it is a mUST.

NO!!!!! Let it heal naturally! Sure, antibiotics kill the bad bacteria in us, but it kills the good stuff, too. If it's just a cough and you've had it for 4 days already, chances are it will be gone soon. Just drink some lemon and honey tea and hot soups. Good luck!!

make sure it's not a virus. only take antibiotics as a last resort. people take antibiotics too often. it makes the anibiotics less effective. they kill bacteria, but the ones that survive reproduce. those are harder to kill as theyve adapted to their environment.
