Lol, while I do not believe the food is ROTTEN (I'm pretty sure the health dept would be very much involved) It is very possible that it is meat from the day before. That being said, there is nothing wrong with this. If you have ever worked for a fast food or restaraunt chain you would know that many of the items concered 'costly' that aren't used today, will be refrigerated and used tomorrow. For example if you've ever ordered from a fast-food chicken franchise (Pop-eyes, Hardees, Churches, Bojangles, KFC) many of these business fry hundreds of breast and thighs a day. At the end of the the day there are usually about 30 left, while the legs and wings are thrown away, these are usually kept, refrigerated and reheated the next day. Long and short; they can afford to throw away a leg, not a breast.

A Chinese restaurant in your hometown which probably sells leftover food as lunch specials the next day ? Confront the owner with the rotten food and ask for a refund. Complain to the local health or environment authority (which issue the licence to the restaurant to operate) if they don't improve.

For the record, I have been to hundreds of good Chinese restaurants all over the world and they served very good food.

it seems you have had the experience of eating such lunch.
when we order food, and it is served, after taking the first bite, or even getting a particular aroma, which may not give you the right signals, kind of a stench, rather than an appetising smell, hault at that point !
wave at the steward, not the waiter, immediately. when he comes tell him politely, yet firmly, that you are not happy about the dish of meat served, so he may please take it away.
next, tell him you have lost the mood, and no more other orders, please excuse, and walk out !
but i still feel, since chinese food is prepared without much spicy masala, they normally deep fry the meat, or boil the chicken, and in their t.v.shows also, you can see they use fresh stuff.
every hotel must be keeping such meat under refrigeration, and you never know, if that's being served to you !
the taste always differs.

Don't know about that, but anything that is a lunch special is definitely prepared before hand, and who knows what they've put in it. Besides, the foods contain a lot of MSG, which we shouldn't consume, and if you order something that isn't a "special" you can tell them what to make & how to make it & always request no MSG. You can't do that w/ the "specials."

No, it's not true, Having said that, there are bad restaurants of whichever cuisine (ethnic and otherwise) in different parts of any town, speaking from personal experience.

If you encounter a bad restaurant, do go somewhere else. Try not to make a generalization about the cuisine, though.

Buy an inexpensive purse at walmart for the exclusive use of your cat. If you can train him to crap in the bag you'll save on kitty litter and can buy a new 60 buck purse with the savings.

All meat decay and rot the moment the animal is killed. So if the chef arrest the rotting of the meat by cooking, it is actually edible. Sometimes quite tasty too.
