child coughing 11 weeks got x ray on chest that normal got pulmonary function test done i.e breathing test no asthma gets cough every nov-dec- jan but stops coughing when asleep any one any advice please , has been on inhalors and antibioctics and still coughing. cough gets worse when out in cold airany one any advice please

Better to keep an eye on him, something around , he is allergic to, find out what, may be cat or dog, may be some kind of food stuff, anything, just watch carefully by terminating the suspected items one by one, then u will find out the thing he is allergic to.

I am an adult and I often have this problem, but thankfully not as long.
It's the breathing of the cold air that causes it. You might want to have the child wear a air mask that reduces the cold air that they breathe.

no wetness to the cough at all? any phlegm? have you been to a cardiologist? sometimes coughing can be a sign of pulmonary regurgitation.
