if people go to the ER with symptoms like that, they'd still do an MI workup, to rule out the possibility of cardiac pain or heart attack. Usually it's the left arm, but sometimes the right. It also could be a pinched nerve, muscle spasms, there are stomach things that can cause chest like pain, and maybe he has more than one problem. He should get it checked out.

I always heard with a heart attack there was a sharp pain radiating down the right arm not numbness. I hope he got checked out by a doctor.

It could be a heart attack. Diabetic patients do not get chest pain when the get attack. The symptom looks like an attack. Take him to a hospital immediately. Once out of hospital, let him take Rudved ayurvedic capsule.

It could be either a heart attack/angina or stroke... some individuals present like this with anxiety but err on the side of caution. As a paramedic if I were to come upon your co-worker we would be going highest priority with lights and sirens to the hospital!
Note: if your co-worker has this again, call 9-1-1!

Typically an MI (heart attack) will present with pain in the LEFT arm. I don't really know what is causing his symptoms, he should go see a doctor who can get a more thorough history that what you have given here.

Sounds cardiac. He probably had a mild heart attack. He really needs to get checked before he has a major attack and damage is done to his heart

You don’t have to get worried about it. It could be because there is not enough blood circulation due to perhaps disuse atrophy or perhaps due to the fact that part of his body was at rest for two or three hours. You can find good home remedies for this. I did find some at http://ailments.in/peripheralneuropathy.html
