Yes. Oral herpes (cold sores) are passed by direct skin to skin contact with an infected area - you DON'T need saliva to pass the virus.
Even using or sharing chap stick, lipstick, cigarettes, cups and eating utensils right after someone with cold sores has used them can cause you to develop cold sores. Cold sores are passed pretty easily. That is why up to 80% of the world has cold sores!

Yes you can...herpes is a very very very contagious viral infection. Saliva has nothing to do with it....
Be care full as there is no cure for herpes, and in some cases, it can be lethal.
If you suspect yourself having contracted herpes, go to you GP as soon as possible as it can be controlled if discovered early.
Although there is no cure for herpes, some drugs have been effective in reducing the frequency and duration of outbreaks.
Take care!

I got diagnosed with genital herpes (type 2) about 3 years ago, whilst I was still in college and had a foolish one-night stand. I know a lot of young women say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the consequences for my entire life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date other men again. After all, who wants to go out with someone who has sores around her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/AR3hv everything improved.
Not only was I able to eliminate all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This method gave me back the opportunity to be happy and experience true love again. Now I want to help others by sharing this story.

Yes i agree with my partner above. Just to add something to the answer, if you got herpes, it has no cure, you can control it, but it cannot get cured. So try to be away until it gets totally cured.

You don't even have to kiss someone to get it, even just drinking after someone who has it could infect you.
