I had sex with a good friend of mine twice, both times I had a lot of vaginal bleeding/broken vaginal tissue because we had really really rough sex. I have sinced stopped because I started worrying about hiv. He is married for 5 years now and I know his wife and son is hiv negative. What are my chances of getting hiv from this guy? I can't get tested until after the window period but I'm really worried right now. Thanks.

First of all you shouldnt be having sex with a married man. Its unfair to him and his wife. His wife and child might not have HIV but if he is cheating on her with you who knows how many other people he is with. Rough sex has nothing to do with it. If your bleeding it is probably because he broke some vaginal tissue

i agree with the other if this guy is cheating on his wife with u he has probably done it loads of other time...lesson number one always use condoms for casual sex....i agree u have to get urself to the clinic not only for hiv but for other STI as well as hepatitis.

JUST AN AFTER THOUGHT...u say u had really rough sex with this guy....i wld put money on that he has more gentle loving sex with his wife...stay away from married men babe.....they r trouble...good luck

First of all, you don't know that he is positive, so don't start worrying yourself right now. He could be, but there is no guarantee that he is. Just, wait to get tested. Waiting is the hardest part, but you have to. Good luck to you.

P.S. It doesn't matter how rough the sex was, if his sperm got into your body, then that's all that matters...

Get yourself to a clinic and get checked. You need a PAP smear and an HIV test pronto.

If he cheats on his wife he could cheat on you too--so it does not matter that for now his wife is negative....or is she?? He can infect her anytime too and she would not know for some time. Protect yourself and gett tested after the window period. Trust noone that lies to their wife, they may lie to you too.

You probably aren't the only one - get tested. Perhaps not have sex with him again...? Why would you have casual UNPROTECTED sex anyway?? Please buy some condoms for future use when needed.
