Most humans have some kind of lactose intolerance . We are not meant to drink milk once we get past age 3. Even free range eggs are questionable, honey is cruel and I don't really like it or sheep's wool !! I'm quite a recent vegan I was a lacto-ovo vegetarian until New Year and I can honestly say it is the best thing I ever did!! I don't miss milk or cheese at all!!

One of the good things is that vegans do not eat anything that has cholesterol, so unless you are genetically predisposed to high cholesterol your cholesterol should be low along with other numbers that mean good health.
Of course as anything else you can abuse this. French Fries would be considered vegan but you can't make a diet out of just French Fries. Also there are many vegan foods that might contain a lot of sugar. These seem to be added to foods under the guise of healthy sugar, but sugar is still sugar. And carbs are still carbs, though you can steer yourself toward those that are better for you and more satisfying.
I would suggest working in to it slowly. Add some veggies and fruit and take away some meat, eggs, or dairy. Then pick a time and go for it strictly for a month. Pay attention to how you feel. I think you will notice a difference.

Without getting into the philosophical issues of being a vegan, I can say that it takes a major effort to get a healthy and diverse diet. Taking the vegetarian diet (which can be very healthy, and not difficult to maintain), and removing eggs, dairy products, Honey, Gelatin, means you need to work harder to come up with your meal plans. If others in your household are vegans, that will ease the effort aspect.

The other downside of being a vegan is going out to dinner. There always seems to be something in restaurant food that vegans cannot eat.

Yesterday somebody gave a link about killing animals for food, i watched only about chicken, didn't watch anything else, but for sure I will not eat anybody any soon. Wanted to become vegetarian long time ago and used to not eat meat, just fish, so I am not eating it anymore! I'll start slow removing products from my diet as somebody suggested and mb will turn into vegan one day.
