How fun! Well, she's going to need a little protein and some complex carbs to get her through the next hours until she can enjoy some reception food! She probably won't want to eat a huge meal, so think of small bites. If she's a meat eater, consider making you'r own McMuffin: canadian bacon, poached or scrambled egg, American cheese, put inside a toasty english muffin. Have a litte fresh fruit, or orange juice along side it and some good tea or coffee if she's into a Starbucks or something. If you want to do a celebratory breakfast for more than just her, consider scrambled eggs, a cheesey scalloped potatoe casserole, bacon, ham, or apple chicken sausage, toast, fresh fruit and juice. You can throw in a little champagne with the orange juice for a nice Mimosa if you want.

I would do something like eggs, canadian bacon, even an omelet or there's tons of recipes for overnight breakfast casseroles. You mix it all togther the night before, and then put it in the fridge overnight, and then bake it for an hour the next day. She'll just need something high protein, so that she doesn't have that high carb drop in energy just as she's going down the aisle. Here's a couple of recipes, but hunt around until you find one you like..

I had another thought, given the timing of the wedding, someone might want to have some string cheese or even some of those Lunchables in a cooler. Also some fresh fruit. She's probably not going to get a chance to sit and eat something until probably after 2pm, after she gets done with photos, etc. That's a LONG time between meals.

Don't know what planet some of these answerers are on. A wedding breakfast is not a morning meal the day after the wedding, but another name for a wedding reception. When I got married in the UK, I had a buffet, for which my Mum organised the catering with help from some friends. You can do this type of catering quite cheaply. I prefer a buffet as the guests can mingle. With a sit-down meal, you are stuck with the adjacent people, whether you know or like them or not. You still have the toasts/speeches/cake cutting as you want.

you have so much to deal with on the wedding day breakfast needs to be fast and simple. Stick with a baked french toast or a breakfast casserole. something that you can make the night before and just put in the oven the next morning. One thing you DON'T want to deal with is taking too long making breakfast and then everything and everyone is running late after that.

I would make a very lite breakfast, but enough to sustain her until she eats again. My wedding wasn't until 6pm and honestly I ate very lite b/c I didn't want to have an upset stomach due to nerves. Not everyone is like that. I think a tray of fruit, pastries, tea and juice would be great.
If you want a sit-down breakfast then try a childhood favorite that might be really nice. Visit www.williams-sonoma.com for elegant breakfast ideas and recipes.

Would depends on her tastes.....
Smoked Salmon and scrambled eggs is a tradtitional special breakfast - although folr me, the thought of that is just horrid!!
You could do a full English, or how about a continental with warm chocolate coissants, selection of fresh fruits and yoghurt?
Whatever you serve her, I'm sure she'll be realy grateful as it's one less thing for her to worry about on her wedding day, but whatever you do chose - make sure it's servved with Bucks Fizz!
If she's anyhting like me, toast did me just fine on my wedding morning though!!

How about breakfast morning muffins almost like minature wedding cakes...
or
I know the whole day will be crazy so people would want something non greasy, quick, easy to make, and quick to pop in your mouth and go.
My suggestion is like a breakfast burrito. No mess. Eggs, bacon bits, and cheese. You can add ham or sausage. It's wrapped in a burrito so it's easy to pick up and brought where you want to rush too and once it's eaten, it's gone, no mess.

Coupld of things.
You can do an egg strata that you can make the night before.
http://www.virtualcities.com/ons/0rec/04casser.htm
Or a baked french toast casserole.
http://www.cooks.com/rec/search/0,1-0,french_toast_casserole,FF.html
Muffins, scones, assorted rolls and danishes that you can purchase from your bakery or gourmet supermarket
Mixed Fruit platter (assemble day of)
Fresh squeezed OJ (again purchase this from your supermarket)
Coffee and Tea bar.
Cold cereal bar. (make sure to have strawberries or bananas available for the kids and grown ups for their cereal)
Lay your breakfast table the night before
The day off you'll bake off your casserole and while that's working, prepare your breakfast meats (bacon/sausages/ham)
Assemble the Fruit platter (or you can buy that already assembled)
Boil water for tea
Brew your coffee, set out your cream/milk/soy milk
Heat rolls, etc....
You can probably have all of this up by 8:30 - 9am
Good Luck.

champagne is a MUST!
Then, rather than go for the traditional, i`d do whatever her favourite brekkie is!
My mum did sausage and snotty-egg buns all round on my wedding morning and I loved it! I wouldnt have thanked her for salmon or whatever! I must admit, the buns were not exaclty great with the champers! Lol

hmm tough one.. if it was me getting married i'd want something healthy so i could feel 100% great and fresh in my dress on the big day.. so a fruit platter of strawberries, pineapple, melon etc.. and some granary toast as fruit wont keep you full for long, fresh ground coffee.. or strawberries and a tipple of champagne to shake the morning nerves off?! If you're thinking of something more hearty try eggs benedict?.. look up a recipe.. its a posh breakfast i think.. perfect!
