Vitamin C enhances the absorption of iron into your body. Foods such as beans, whole grains, spinach, and dried fruits have a significant amount of iron. Eat a lot of iron rich cereal. Many cereals are fortified with iron. Check the food label on the box and look for iron under the daily values. You should also avoid drinking tea with your meals that are high in iron. Tea contains tannin that could inhibit the absorption of iron.

Spinach is full of iron and here's a painful one for you -Guinness.
For pregnant mothers to be who were susceptible to anemia (iron deficiency) Guinness was actively encouraged in Irish hospitals on a moderate regime basis as was stout in Belgian hospitals-before the negative correlations between alcohol and pregnancy came to the fore.But Stout/Guinness actually is good for you in terms of iron content.

Here is an iron fact sheet with a list of foods. Actually, vegetarians are no more likely than meat-eaters to develop anemia. Meat does not have that much iron.

beans, including kidney, lima, navy, black, pinto, soy beans, and lentils
iron fortified whole grains, including cereals, breads, rice, and pasta
greens, including collard greens, kale, mustard greens, spinach, and turnip greens
tofu
vegetables, including broccoli, swiss chard, asparagus, parsley, watercress, brussel sprouts
dried fruits, such as raisins, prunes, dates and apricots

Do have it tested and treated by a doctor, for two reasons:
1: it's not just being tired, it's being PAINFULLY tired;
2: overdosing on iron medication can be fatal.

There are lots of cereals high in iron.
For instance, one of my favorites, rice chex, has 50% of your daily value of iron per serving.
It's quick, easy, and tasty.
