Eric thinks that someone will have an answer for this immediately. I'm considering doing a joke in England that hinges on the audience being familiar with this food item.

Yes, the English do eat grilled chicken salad, though it is not a particularly popular choice of meal.

We English would be familiar enough with the term for your joke to register.

Yes, they eat grilled chicken in England. But what you should be really concerned about is whether the Brits have any sense of humour in the first place!!

hahaha good question!we sure do! haha over here in england it isnt refered to as 'grilled' but we do tend to deep fry alot of our food compared you other countries. in my visits to australia and the USA ive noticed how good their food is when they dont deep fry anything!!! hope this helps.
