People are addicted to all types of thing including food and you just can't ban all the things, so it may be best for you to seek medical help. Sometimes just hearing from a actual Doctor what can happen to your sinuses from this stuff is enough of a scare to get you off the stuff, if not the Doctor may have some better advice. Good luck. Also you may want to replace it with a natural spray like saline or salt water or grapefruit sprays. Much healthier.

There may be a medical reason why you can't breathe through your nose without it. Talk to your doctor or see an ENT.
It does not make sense to ban a medication because it might become addicting when there are those who NEED it for medical reasons.

You are suffering from a rebound effect. If you stop taking them, your nose will clear up in a few days. In the future you may want to try a saline rinse, since it's not addicting. In addition, pseudoephedrine (available behind the counter in the pharmacy) is a decongestant and it does not have a rebound effect.

You are not supposed to use it for more than 3 days!!!! You need to stop...go cold turkey and in a few days your nose will return to normal. You might want to buy some breathright strips to open your nostrils a bit so you can fall asleep. I have been through this...you will be fine but good luck:)

If you ban it, then only outlaws will have nasal spray. And I need it for my baby son, too!
