hi, I need ideas for a pot luck. The teachers are grouped and it's now my groups turn to come up with a theme and then the food to go along with the theme. They already have done tacos, desserts, sundays, baked potato, salads, soups, and pasta. Thanks for any help.

How about an island theme, like say, different foods eaten in Hawaii? Some pineapple, a roasted pig (ok that might be a stretch) Get some leis and grass skirts and you're all set!

I shall assume that when you had tacos, the theme was Mexican and so on for each entre. How about a chili cookoff? Add some variations on a good cornbread, some salad and a red and white chili and you're cooking!

How about a Time of Day theme.... give each person a time of day (8 AM, noon, 6 PM, midnight) and ask them to bring something they'd serve at those times. You'll get a great variety.

well since you are Italian I'm not sure what color the Italian flag is so why dont you find her a nice white blouse denim skirt and make her a scarf to go around the color of her neck with matching bows and barretts or just find her a blouse with those colors in it as the flag that should be pretty.

If your school is very diversed... how about an "Around The World" theme? or something multi-cultural... and people could bring in popular dishes from their culture/country... like sushi (Japan), spaghetti (Italy), fried chicken (American), curry (India), chow mein/noodles (China), burritos (Mexico), kimchi (Korean), pineapples (Hawaiian), french bread (France).... etc etc.
could be creative and good way of trying stuff you've never tried before??
Now I'm hungry...
