don't try to make your recipe with regular yeast. Nutritional yeast flakes are found in any whole food store, or health food store.
I make it all the time, and it is delicious.
It is worth finding.

I use the KAL brand of Nutritional yeast flakes because they are grown on molasses and no dairy (depends on how much you want to know as a veagn where your food is based on). Brewer's yeast is from the brewing industry. I can find the cheapest price at Vitamin Shoppe (and the Brown Rice Protein Powder too). I also like the Pure Advantage Pea Protein powder (you asked about protein powders before). I add it to soups for extra nutrition. I do a white wine sauce with the yeast. I have heard of people shaking it on their popcorn for a nutritional snack.

U can but U then need to enrich it with something B12 or Vitamins A, B, C, or E. & it won't be as good! I don't recommend substitution here! Have U checked out the Health food stores? U shouldn't have trouble finding it there! I've used brewers yeast for
vegan-cheese!

No baking yeast is completely different. It won't taste good and isn't good to eat that way.
Whole Foods and other health food stores carry nutritional yeast flakes.

no, it is not possible nutritional yeast is high in protein ,vitamin A,C and E. It is better than common yeast which has a slow rate of anaerobic respiration. Thus nutritional yeast is configured in such a way that it is better of than common yeast.
