Don't drink, don't smoke, don't do drugs, breathe when you stand up, etc. Seriously, dizziness has dozens of causes. As a single symptom, it's not considered medically alarming, unless it makes you nauseous enough to vomit a lot. Very commonly it results from a drop in blood pressure when going from a lying or sitting position to a standing position. If this happens, take some deep breaths and hold onto a dresser or something for the sake of security for ten seconds or so. If you are constantly dizzy, you might want to see a doctor.

if you have a roommate or somethng, have them test your bloodsugar level when you get dizzy, if you can't do it yourself. it might be low- if so, incase you don't know, drink some orange juice or eat something with sugar. it could be high, that can cause dizziness too. if so, talk to your doctor so he can help you adjust your insulin or diet. be careful! if your bloodsugars are fine when you get dizzy, see your doctor...it could be a heart issue or something.
