yogurt/yogurt/yogurt!!
water just dissipates the capsaicin all over your tongue, making it worth. capsaicin is the element in the chilies that makes them spicy. more capsaicin, the hotter the chili and vice versa.

drink milk. the fat content in the milk will wash away the "hot" essential oils of the peppers. or, drink something sweet, like fruit juice or nectar. the sweet/acid combination can sometimes counteract the heat. above all, DO NOT DRINK WATER with hot/spicy foods as this will just make it worse by washing all the solids out of your mouth and leaving the essential oils there to burn.

As said before, bread and/or milk. Actually bread and/or most any non-water based beverage. Water does not work because most spicy foods get their heat from oils in said foods. An exception here being some water-based beverages with alcohol in it.

including honey to the chili fairly helps to tone down the spiciness of the dish. I actually have done this one in the previous when I extra way too many warm issues. basically keep tasting and also you are able to wish to characteristic a highly solid volume of honey for it to paintings. or you are able to upload it to style on your human being bowl of chili. It gained't make it sweet it is going to easily tone down the nice and cozy temperature.

A nice tall glass of ice cold lime juice does the trick. Alternatively, you can also try drinking hot water or tap water. Mom says it does the trick. Personally, I prefer lime juice.

I usually just keep on eating more and more. I LOVE the rush you get from eating really hot food.

milk! it closes those taste buds. but water opens them up. so never drink water after eating something spicy unless you want the heat intesified. also sugar coats your tongue well so sometimes people eat a tbl. or more when dealing witha hot tongue!
