First of all. I would like to say congrats on making a smart choice. I found that www.goveg.com was a big help, or at least is was to me. They have lots of Vegetarian and Vegan recipe's. There's no set rules or anything for becoming a vegan other not eating meat (of any kind), dairy, or eggs. Best wishes.

I know that Vegetarians eat no meat but some eat eggs and some dairy.
Vegans eat No meat, fish or eggs. some Vegans will eat other dairy products like milk and cheese.
If you go on a strict Vegan diet, please get yourself good Cookbooks or look up Recipies on the internet. I have seen people on the Vegan diet become anemic.. You can get your protein from other food sources other than meat. But you have to do it with the right foods. The internet is a very good source of information. Also, They do not wear anything made from animals such as leather and fur and are against animals being used for experimental research for cosmetics etc. Good Luck!

simple just stop eating meat and eat more fruits, veggies, cereals, grains, beans, and greens! Also No dairy products... not even any eggs.( If you eat dairy products but no animals
your vegetarian not vegan). Some forget that fish and turkey are animals.. so that's a no no for vegetarians and vegans!

Not only do vegans not eat any animal products, they do not wear, use or buy any animal products. That means no leather shoes, no cosmetics tested on animals or containing any animal by products...it takes a lot of dedication and research to go vegan.

You have to forget fast food, but you can make you r own versions! Buy vegan veggie burgers, boca and mornignstar both have one variety of vegan burger. or make your own.

If you thought a vegetarian diet deprived people of food, vegans take it one step further. Only vegans don’t see it as deprivation whatsoever—and it’s more than a diet, it’s a lifestyle.
