When I look at naked women or when my girlfriend touches me and wants to kiss. I have no desire. I do not get turned on at all. Two popscicle sticks couldn't hold it up for me. Is this normal it's been nearly a year.

Yes that is a side effect of beta blockers. You should talk to your doctor about that and may be able to change your meds or decrease the dosage. Soooooooooo don't worry however, call your doctor and let him know and I'm certain he will try to help you.

Loss of sexual desire is not uncommon with beta blockers. Not wanting to do something about it is.

There are 7 classes of drugs used to treat hypertension - call the doctor and ask about changing to another med BUT be sure to follow instructions about tapering off the beta-blocker as abrupt cessation can lead to problems in people with heart failure and angina,

Good luck

NO it is not normal to experience that. Beta-Blocker reduces BP, which means it reduces the pressure of blood to the penis to the point you cant get a errection. This is not a common side effect of the drug but it can happen. What you need to do is go to your doctor and he will switch you to another med or reduce the dosage of your current one.

beta blockers are notorious for impacting the sex drive. you should mention this to the doctor who is prescribing your medications. there are beta blockers and blood pressure medicines that don't impact the libido.
