A couple days ago, my boyfriend secretly went to the doctor(without telling me) because he thought he had herpes. Well, when he got home, he told me the doctor said he had Mollscum Contagious. He has about 5 on his penis and the rest looks like a razor burn rash. Can somebody tell me what the hell this is. Is it a STD?? Is it contagious? Is it a form of warts or herpes?? I cant even have sex with him anymore without thinking about it (p.s. we use condoms). How did he get it??
Professional advice please..any rue comments I will report you

Hi this is a viral infection. It can be considered an sti if its on the genitals but you can get in anywhere on your body so it isn't considered the same as other sti's. It does not have long term health risks unless associated with HIV. It is similar to warts/herpes in how it can look but does not hurt. It is definitely not a form of warts or herpes though. It is contagious, your boyfriend could touch himself or scratch then touch another part of his body and pass it to there, so he must try to not touch it. You can catch it during sex even if you use condoms because he may have it in other areas apart from his penis. Such as thighs or surrounding area to penis. He should wait till they disappear to know he is really safe. His doctor may have given him some cream or a lot of the time when they are on the genitals they are frozen off to prevent spreading. You may want to consider keeping an eye out for any problems yourself and get checked if you notice anything unusual. You can get this from sex, sharing water - ie bath, swimming pool, sauna type areas, sharing towels/razors, some other forms of contact / touching. I wish you both the best with this, try not to worry too much and discuss with your Dr if worried.

I got it on my face last year and yes it is contagious. I and I'm not sure how I got it as I didn't have sex at the time. I think I got it from buying a used motorcycle helmet off a gay guy. Molluscum is spreading is gyms around the country from guys sharing towels. My dad got it from volunteering at a used clothing store. Maybe that's how I got it, from using a towel at his house? Either way, it started with only about 5 or 6, but by the time I went to the dermatologist 6 weeks later, I had twenty on my face. Some were barely noticeable, but I had to get every single one burned off. Condoms won't protect you and I wouldn't even shake his hand or share his towel without washing your hands after. Once he gets them treated, your fine. Tell him to go to a dermatologist. I'm not sure if they burn them off on the penis, because that would hurt. But they probably would since I had one on my eyelid and they treated that.

Molluscum Contagiosum has nothing to do with mollusks and is not all that contagious. It is caused by a virus. It forms little firm mushroom like growths with a hard center in them. When the hard center is removed (cut out or squeezed out) they go away and come back a few months to a few years later. It is allegedly sexually transmitted, but I have two of them that come up on my trunk near the bottom of my ribs and nowhere else. I have not seen them in two or more years.
They are not associated with cancer and are not related to HPV. In all they don't do much.

yes it is contagious and yes it can be an std if you get it down there. But my 3 year old daughter got it from one of her little friends on her legs and in that way it is not an std. She only had a couple and they went away after about a year, no scars or anything.

Moles, warts, and skin labels are typical epidermis lesions that develop naturally. Although they are generally non cancerous, they may be uncomfortable if situated on a visible portion like the face. Epidermis lesions like moles and warts cause self esteem problems to the sufferers. A person with moles normally turns into a loner because they do not want to be observed in public. They think embarrassed to be out in public areas, so depression can normally follow but now you can modify all of this with this particular guide from here https://tr.im/KkdNS , Moles, Warts and Skin Tags Removal eBook.
The author of this eBook, Charles Davidson, is just a practitioner in substitute medicine.  He is also an expert in skin care, using natural treatments to remedy different types of skin conditions.
Moles, Warts and Skin Tags Removal program is just a 100% natural system, established to remove skin deformities such as for instance skin labels, moles, and warts, regardless of how large or small they are.  It's also secure to utilize on children.

Cold sores are caused by the herpes virus. Many of us already have the cold sore virus dormant in our bodies, and never have a flare up of cold sores. We contracted it as children, as it is a very common virus, and children pick it up easily as they often share food and drinks, and may be less concerned about hand washing and hygiene. Cold sores can be transmitted even when the person does not have a cold sore, though it is less likely to happen then.

remember that you can remove genital warts by surgery, freezing, laser, acid or cream but genital warts can reappear again and again because genital warts appears when your immune system is weak!

I got diagnosed with herpes type 2 about seven years ago, when I was still in college and had a stupid one-night stand. However, Not only was I able to remove all traces of the herpes virus from my system in less than three weeks, but I was also able to start dating again!
