many doctors think it started in AFRICA! some 30 years ago! but we cannot prove it for sure! in america, it seems that san francisco, ca, which is highly homosexual has the highest rate in america! and is sexually related! men with men is not natural and is condemed by the bible! and these gays are getting the just reward according to their sexual sins, according to the st paul of new testament times! it is in the book of ROMANS! in conclusion, africa is the right answer!

Actually there are alot of speculation on this however after reading and viewing much material on this subject I would have to say it was started in Belgian Congo when they were expermenting on polio vaccines. That was the actual first diagnosis of HIV in the 60's was from. Also the hunter theory is a good one when they were slaughtering monkeys.

I read that it started actualy in the 16th century in Africa, however it never go outside Africa until a war broke out somewere in that time period. It finaly made it's way out through Persian sailors that were involved in the war. They have been doing tests on old DNA that the death was unexplained 40 50 years ago, I would like to see what feedback you get on this.

HIV/aids started with gay men in europe. I'm pretty sure this is right, but I'm not sure.

I'm not completely sure if this is still the theory, but it is believed that it came from eating undercooked monkey meat in Africa.

Most people believe Africa...that's why it is so bad over there. Very sad. Also...some people believe it came from monkeys.
