Hello. I have been seeing doctors/cardiologists since November regarding chest pains and palpitations/flutters of my heart. EKGs, heart holters and x-rays have gone nowhere, been costly, and aggravated me more. I am 30 years of age and told it's in my head, basically. However I'm not seeking treatment here.

I would like to seek a non-western type of medicine. I am totally unfamiliar with this realm. Can anyone who has knowledge of this world advise me where to look? I live in a large city in the USA so such resources should be available in my area but I don't know where to look. I'd like to see someone who might be able to diagnose, or treat, or help me. Whether I have a clogged artery, or stress, or need dietary changes I haven't made, I'm eager to do with non-western medicine (in addition to my regular physician).

Thank you for your help. Serious replies only please, the rest I can do without.

Marvinato: I have paid $400 for heart holters and EKGs that have shown nothing. Under my crappy health plan I cannot pay for them to go further, the bills are ridiculous.

Eastern medicine is not well received in the United States. There are alternatives available. Go to the link below and read this article. The following is a quote:

"If there are no acupuncturists practicing in your area due to the laws of your state, then a good idea would be to seek out a school of Chinese martial arts such as Kung Fu, Tai Chi and others. They often know of practitioners of Oriental medicine who practice "underground." There are certain legal problems with this, but sometimes pain can motivate one to seek out help wherever it can be found. Perhaps someday acupuncture and Oriental medicine will be better accepted everywhere and practitioners will be able to practice legally."

Hope this helps. Good Luck.

I don't know where some of these posters live, but where I am from (western country) the workplace is loaded with female CEOs. Some of the statements on here, I have to say, are falsehoods and need to be addressed. Many many women, at least where I come from, are in very high management positions and they take place in droves. I'd suggest, maybe, doing some research on the topic?? Women in marketing positions, for example, at the executive level make well over $100K per year. I don't know where the problem lies? Women are getting their fair share, and more so. Thus, they are ever more so ending up as the breadwinners of the family, single mothers/CEOs alike. I am pretty pleased with how far women have come, but that didn't arrive without a lot of the downsides, either, e.g. housing market went through the roof courtesy of the housewife having to go into the workforce to support skyrocketing home prices. I love to stay home full time to raise my third child and, thankfully, am able to do so, in my current situation. However, it wasn't always th

Hi there. I'm serious to reply your post.
Please take my suggestion into consideration.

First of all, I recommend you still have to see the doctor.
Although it doesn't really work, it helps control your heart immediately.

Here's what you need, my answer:

It's made of high-quality herbal.
But you can't say it's non-western.
It combines the best of science (western hi-tech) and nature (Eastern herbal).

If you'd like to give it a try, please email me at jessieshuai@gmail.com
I'll tell you how to order it and use it.
Herbalife is really good, but you need a coach to help you use it to the best!
All you have to do is trust me!

Even though the "Western Doctors" say you're healthy, you think otherwise? This is borderline hypochondriac behavior.

Consider what they say is true about your health, and also consider a better health regimen...eat better, exercise regularly and live with a better positive attitude.
