I don't know how huge the apple is that the first poster is eating but a small apple (regardless of color), the size that is typically found in a bag of organic apples (approx 1.5 inch in diameter) is 15 grams of carbs.

A medium apple w/skin (regardless of color) that typically weighs 5-7 ounces (2.5-3.5 inches in diameter) is 21 carbs. This is the size apple that is typically found in a bag of non-organic apples.

I am type 2 diabetic and 1 eat a small green (Grannysmith) organic apple every day for a snack between breakfast and lunch. It is what is known as a good carb. It is definately preferred over say a "food bar" that has the same amount of carbs due to all of the chemicals/preservatives in those things.

is green apple good for diabetics?

Apples and fruit in general contain natural sugars. However, they are better than eating regular sugar. The body processes it better. Even diabetics need some sugar, so apples instead of a candy bar is a great alternative.
