If he lady (patient) has applied Vicks Vapour Rub and it is effective she can continue with that only. It will not make any impact on Pregnancy. Let her have and feel free. Best of Luck -

Vicks should be fine in pregnancy as there should be no actual drugs in it just menthol and petroleum jelly. I would personally not use any drugs at all whilst pregnant unless they were needed for a life threatening condition. You never know what the effects may be and whether proper studies have been done on the effects upon the unborn child. Stick to the home remedies like hot lemon and honey drinks, some vitamin C and rest!

It's best to inhale steam if your nose is blocked.I don't think Vicks will harm, but I always used natural stuff during my pregnancies.

Vicks is usually okay. Consult with your doctor for other medicines that he considers to be safe. Each doctor varies in his opinion.

yes it is....i had the same concern when i was pregnant and i asked a pharmacist in boots..he said the ingredients in vicks are fine for pregnant women..they are mostly natural decongestant oils.
