Remember...the whole trick to loosing weight is burning more calories than you eat. That diet will work as long as your burning up more calories than you consume. Your also going to need a substitute for protein

go you! i am an indian and a vegetarian since birth....and let me tell you that the diet alone will not really do anything about your weight, you have to exercise as well. also, indian food already has enough protein so you dont really need supplements
