If a person hasn't had any sexual contact for over a year and they show no signs of an infection of any kind, is there any possibility that they could have gonorrhea?

How can you suspect it, if you have no symptoms?

Yes, you can have gonnorhea and show no signs. If you or someone thinks they have it, you need to get to the doctor ASAP. It can have bad affects on your body if left untreated.

as far as i know, u cannot get gonorrhea if ure not having sexual intercourse at all. however, u only said that if a person hasnt had sexual contact for a year, but that person did had sex bfore that, right??? and in that case, yes it can. cuz it might that person already had gonorrhea long time ago.

the only thing to sure about it is to contact the doctor and ask for a test about it.

Yes, you could have been asymptomatic. There is a website called WebMD and you need to go to it and read up on STD's and then learn to use and practice safe sex. This website is great and very helpful.
