It is true, however less risk by does NOT mean no risk. Studies are still very early and although there is a link between circumcision and HIV, it is still yet to be determined if this is due to the actual circumcision or outside factors (i.e., certain countries or religions that have high rates of circumcision, may have lifestyles that lower the risk).

Disregard the top two answers. ANYONE can become infected with HIV morals or not. A morally sound person can marry a virgin and if their partner has sex outside of marriage with an infected individual the morally sound person can become infected also. Someone can be infected with HIV circumcised as well as uncircumcised. However, uncircumcised men have a higher risk of developing HPV (genital warts) and herpes, and Syphilis. Many other STDS can be harbored in the foreskin of uncircumcised men. Also men that aren't circumcised also in their golden years can have their foreskin grow over the penis preventing urination, as my grandpa had to be circumcised in his 80's! In general circumcision is cleaner and more healthy for men. I would recommend it.

Men with morals have NO risk of HIV infection. Immoral men have a 100% risk of HIV infection.
It is not the question of circumcision. It is a question of morals.
Sex only through marriage. The media is confusing the world; the governments are confusing the world by not asking the right question, and teaching Sex at schools rather than morals which are wholly covered in our scriptures, whichever religion you follow.

Anybody that screws around is at risk of infection.
Anybody too dumb to use a condom when they screw around is at great risk of infection.
I doesn't matter if you are uncircumcised or circumcised.
"Circumcision" is just a mutilation, it doesn't prevent or cure anything but the full enjoyment of sex.

Rand you are absolutely correct....getting infected has nothing to do with whether or not you have been circumcised. Whoever told you that is sadly mistaken.....nothing can keep you from getting HIV from some one who has been infected.
