I have only had one. We both waited until our wedding night, so he's only had one as well. I was 25 when I got married. The fewer partners the better, I really like not having anyone else to compare my husband to (and no one he's comparing me to) so it's really just the two of us in the bedroom without any history or baggage hanging around. Guilt-free naked fun.

It sounds pretty close to accurate to me. I mean sure a lot of people's number is a lot less than that, but think of the people that have had over 150 sex partners. They boost that average waaay up. I've had 12, and i think thats too much. Im with one man now who I'm engaged to. One partner by the age or 24 is definately something to be proud of!!! Not to sound like an after school special but casual sex is way overrated and it DOES have serious serious consequences that are NOT worth it!
Anyway I think it sounds about right. And good for you!

It depends on where u live :/ people think in different ways in Europe it's 2-5 America 0-2 Canada 0-1 middle east well 0 XD u would be considered a whore if u had sex before u got married but stay safe and think about who you are sleeping with sex isn't just about pleasure it's some thing 2 people who are madly in love do and u shouldn't just have sex with people just because you want to show people that u have experience you shouldn't care at all about what others say :) x

I lost count after the first 200... (but things were different back in the old days) I had way more than one at age 14.. so to me 1 @ 24 would seem a little low.. but we really didnt have all the problems surrounding STD's back then that ya'll do now..
Things were different back then.. It wasnt all that uncommon to have more than 1 partner in 1 nite even (and you can read that to mean all at the same time)
(I'm 48 next month BTW)

Well 10 in 1 person's lifetime seems low? Depends on the person. 1 person by 24 is admirable.

your posting in the STD section so alot of the ppl saying that 10 is low well most ppl in this section have probably had numerous sex partners. I personally think 1 sex partner is way more attractive then someone whose slept with a bunch of ppl. I wouldnt sleep with someone if they had slept with alot of people

well, the polls should be based on truthful answers, but doubt the polls are accuarate. why do you ask, us the general public, if one sex partner is low? personally, i don't want to know other peoples sex lives....besides its none of our business...think of it this way, though, less chance of getting an std

That's low but good. I've only had two and I'm not in a hurry to add to that list.
