use soap and rub your hands on the inside of your stainless steal sink then rinse. the stainless steal gets garlic smell off and also the smell of onions. It has to do with some sort of reaction between the chemicals from the soap the steal and the well plant.

When you've finish with the garlic, rub your fingers on the metal sink. You can buy metal bars that will do the same thing, but why bother when they're made of precisely the same material as the sink?
Then again, some people like the smell of garlic. Really. And unless you're dating/living with a vampire, ask if the individual is a garlic lover.

Rub your hands with some salt and lemon. Then wash them with cold running water. This should take the garlic smell off your hands.

Wsh your hands thoroughly with ordinary soap, use lemon, then put vanilla all over your hand, like you would a hand moisturizing lotion. I have been cooking since age 11, and I know vanilla takes off any strong smell from your hands.

This works for garlic and onion. Thoroughly scrub your hand's and under your nail's under cold running water for 30 seconds. Don't use soap. This closes the pores and prevents the oder from penetrating the skin. I used to own a restaurant where we prepped 50 pounds of onion a day. This is the only thing that works.

If you have a stainless steel faucet rub your hands over it and wash the smell will be gone. If you don't have a faucet of stainless steel use anything stainless and just rub your hands on it and wash. BINGO all the garlic smell is gone. Works with fish, onion, etc. smells too.

Hi,
Rub a large stainless steel spoon or other object. The smell will go away. This also works for onions, fish, and most other odors that you do not want on your hands.

wash your hands with soap, rub alittle lemon on your hands, rinse and then rub your hands/fingers on stainless steel. Like a sink. Let me know if this helps.

Baking soda absorbs bad smells (as well as being a great cleaner for the fridge). Stick your finger in a bowl of some powder to let the smell be absorbed.
