Call the Doctor,,or call the Emergency Room at your local Hospital and ask one of the Doctors on Call.
Probaly Faster to get that Info from the E.R. folks

If it was an adult,,,and it was during an awake period,,,,
that would be different.

With a small child,,,and while sleeping,,,,,,is about the worst scenario to take chances.

Dont waste time,,contact a Doctor

Best Wishes,,I'm sure she'll be fine.

But make CERTAIN she is,,,CALL the Doctor and Ask.

15 minutes after you gave her the rapid, wake her up and recheck her glucose. You know what her parameters are. If it's below what her doctor wants to see, give her a cup of juice. Recheck in 45 min. Novo-Rapid acts quickly but drops off quickly too. If after the recheck she's still outside her parameters, take her to an ER for IV glucagon.

Do an Accu check on her NOW. Then either take her to the ER or call an ambulance. She could be going into a coma from Hypogycemia. It's life threatening and can kill her.

Call your pediatrician NOW - explain what happened, give the dosages. Someone is on call - tell the answering service it is an emergency. Your doctor will call you back.

It may be just fine, or she may need some sugar, depending on the dosage.

CALL NOW.

I suggest giving the little one something to eat (like higher carbs). This will booste the sugar levels up. It is my experience to be better off a little high versus low.

Good luck.

Give her a snack to prevent her blood sugar from dropping too much. Grahm crackers and orange juice is good! If the dose was large she might need to get to the hospital for dextrose. Try waking her up, if she is sweaty, hard to arouse, or pale, call the emergency squad to get her to the er

Call the doctor and ask him what he wants you to do. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO BE ASKING questions that require a doctors advice/order. When things like this happen your doc is the first person you should call as only he/she can tell what they want you to do.

I've done this to myself and it is scary.
Call your doctor and get instructions.
You will need to monitor her sugar all night long so plan on a long one.

Call the doctor!
