My partner is taking me for a meal tonight at our local Indian restaurant and i know what i am having however i need help suggesting things to him, he wants a hot dish but not too hot and does not like korma style dishes as they are too creamy, any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks (please also tell me how hot your suggestions are so i can advise him)

lamb byriani you can get it from mild to HOT!!!!!
heres a recipe if you want to try it eat home

Bryiani

2lbs of lamb or what ever meat you like
1 teaspoon of: red pepper powder, cumin, cardamon, Cinnamon and cloves
4 cups of bismati rice
2 cloves of garlic
2 medium onions

How To Prepare

cook lamb or any meat with all spices listed, garlic and 1 onion for 30mins
cook rice in a rice cooker
after both are prepared mix both together over a medium heat with other onion

Maa ki Daal (Punjabi lentil stew)
Bhaingan Bhartha (Spicy roasted eggplant)

Shrimp Bhuna
Chicken Tikka Masala or Makhani
Tandoori Mixed Plate
Chicken/Lamb Biryani
